I am a New Jersey resident and am currently with Geico. Now I know it's impossible to give an exact value, but can I have the range?

  1. Well it is almost impossible to even give you a range without know a bit more information. Insurance companies look at a number of different factors such as age, gender, make and model of car, marital status, location, credit history, and driving record to determine your insurance premium.

The good thing is that they are a B student. That will definitely help lower their premium.  It's hard to say much else without even knowing what type of car they will be driving. That is a huge factor.

If you would like to get a ballpark idea of how much the insurance is going to cost you, you should compare quotes online.  I know you currently have Geico but you might find that a different company offers you a cheaper rate for your student driver.  You might consider switching companies to save more money.  That's why it is so important to do alot of research before you decide on one company.  The site below is really helpful because it allows you to compare rate quotes for all of the insurance companies in your area for free so you can find the most affordable rate.

    Good Luck!
