not easy.

BUT not to despair.

Radio shack has, or used to have, kits that kids could use to make a radio.

they're much more modern these days.

when i was a kid, it was a crystal radio.

the crystal was a sort of random tuner.

and the power was whatever the radio signal put into the antenna.
