  1. Cloning is sick!!! And it`s a sin!!! You should go on death row for cloning!

  2. Unethical.

First off, clones age unnaturally. The DNA that is taken from the individual is older, so therefore when the clone is made, they will age very fast. Dolly the sheep died of old age at 6, while most sheep live until at least 11 or 12. Imagine having someone in their forties with Parkinson's disease, arthritis and heart failure. It's just not a good thing. And, on top of that, because of the nature of the DNA, there isn't any way to prevent this from happening. Well, there is ONE way, I suppose (adding telomerase to the organism to prevent chromosomal shortening and aging), but it causes cancer.

And on top of that, there really isn't much reason for it; there is no need to play God here.

  3. cloning for medical purposes is completely ethical, as long as its not like the movie the island.

likee if we cloned mass amounts of stem cells instead of wasting millions of embryos.

  4. There is no ethical reason why it should be disallowed, so long as the person being cloned is aware of this and has given their consent.

However currently there may be medical reasons, for instance the first clone of a sheep appeared to suffer from premature aging. Once all the kinks have been worked out though, sure, why not?

We could also just clone individual organs, for heart or kidney transplants. Or perhaps for someone who has not accomplished all they wanted in life, they could clone themselves and raise their new, younger, identical twin as their child, literally giving themselves a second chance.

We've been cloning plants for centuries, just a simple tree cutting can be used to clone a whole tree. Now we can do it for animals, and once we get it right, why not humans?

  5. It's a sin to God.

  6. I think cloning is ethical.  Sure.  If cloning from a human to make a human is unethical why not use DNA from other animals to reproduce human DNA?

  7. Human cloning is one of the greatest advances  of science,. but human cloning is not ethical. bcoz,

    1. now the world is having the problem of over population. under these circumstances it is foolish to bring some more individuals on to the earth from laboratories.

2.more over when u are able to produce children through labs, no one needs to worry to save their marriage with a person. divorce cases reach peak.

    3. moreover what would u call the clone. all the family relations will be destroyed.

    4. if cloning is further encouraged, sexual reproduction reduces. so  there will not be genetic recombinations and no new species can form and leads to the complete extinction of human race after a million years.

how ever, human cloning can be used to produce organs like kidneys, heart and brain and can be used for saving lives through transplantation and for curing diseases like cancer.
