I mean we all know Italian food but proper Italian food is

totally different and if you're planning on going I highly recommend you plan out places to go see/things to do/eat at etc first so you won't waste anytime once you're there.

  10. arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i just came back from italy yesterday!!! I like venice the best, (but it does really smell on a morning!) i know its not a city but lake garda is really beautiful!

  11. Italy is a breathtakingly beautiful country.  I spend 4-6 weeks there every year and never tire of going.  Each region has its own personality.  I've always found the people to be warm and friendly.

Picking my favorite city is difficult, but if I had to pick one city in which to spend my time it would have to be Venice.  It is mystical, to my thinking the most unique city on Earth.  The sense of history is palpable.  When you walk down the corridors at night, you can almost feel the presence of those who have walked those streets throughout the years.

However, I can't let this question go with a pitch for Tuscany with its beautiful countryside and hill towns such as Montepulciano and San Gimignano.
