well my bf is a recent veteran of the marine corps. well he still has money from korea. how much does $1000 korean money is worth? if we was to change it into american money?

    1000 Won is a little bit over a dollar.

    Basically think of those 1000's as dollar bills.

  5. As already explained, 1000 Won is equal to around 1 USD.

    So, you really only have to take off three zeros.

    Examples:

    400 W equals around 40 cents.

    3000 W equals around 3 USD.

    etc.
