First of all, you should NEVER, EVER describe yourself as you did on a public forum like this. That is how child molesters, and pedophiles find their victims (they could look up your address in an online phone directory, simply by your name), you told them where you went to school (also easy enough to find on the internet), you basically told them what you look like. Perverts get on an internet chat room site and say something like, "Hi, I'd like to be your friend." and then give you a totally bogus description of themselves--a 50 year-old registered (or not) s*x offender could say he was your age and use childish language to make you believe him. Then, after he's got you "trapped"--so to speak--he'll ask to meet you somewhere "but don't tell your Mom and Dad. This is just between us" yada yada yada. By the time you realize what happened, it will be too late. He could kidnap you, and do what God only  knows what to you.

     Like others have said, in the Genealogy section, we look up your dead ancestors to see where your family got started.

Looking at www.familysearch.org, I found out your last name comes from GERMANY & AUSTRIA, with the earliest listing being this lady:  

Adelheid Volkwein--Birth:  About 1198 in  Augsburg, Schwaben, Bayern , Germany.
