Is it possible to turn on the monitor directly from the keybored...??if yes...tell me how

Some monitors will work windows if windows has the drivers. If not you may want to visit the  website of the manufacturer of your monitor and download the drivers and user manual. Remember all monitors might not have the same options. Most DVI monitors carry this option.

you can set your monitor to turn off when not in use, and then when you move the keyboard it will turn on.

For a laptop: right click on your desktop, go to the screensaver tab, then click the "power options" button and set it.

For a desktop:  Wait for someone else to answer who has used a desktop computer in the past 5 years =P

Next time specify because it's much different from one to the other.
