About my dutch rabbit plz awnser?

everytime i pick up my dutch rabbit it sniffsme does that mean its about to bite me?how do I know if its going to bite me.will the bite hurt

  1. bits dont hurt that much at all... my rabbit sniffs me all the time maybe he just wants 2 know who it is that is picking him up


  2. Rabbits have limited sight and they don't have hands. Taste and smell are two ways they use to "see" whats in their envirnoment. Rabbits love to sniff and is often a sign of ofection, they just want to get to know you. Some times a rabbit will nip you because it's being playfull or "tatsing" you. If a rabbit really bites you, it REALLY hurts but I've  been raising rabbits for many years and only had one severe bite and most of the time the rabbit wasn't very tame.

  3. It's probably just sniffing you because it recognizes your smell. And it's also probably decifering whether you're food or not. And the bite shouldn't hurt that much.

  4. Trust me you need not fear your bunny.
