Question:

About my flickr account..?

I was loading up pictures and then I got this note:

You've run into one of the limits of a free account. Your free account will only display the most recent 200 things you've uploaded.

Anything beyond 200 will remain hidden from view until you either delete newer items, or upgrade to a Flickr Pro account.

Nothing has been deleted, and if you upgrade, you'll have unlimited space for all your things. Perhaps you'd like to upgrade to Pro? You'll even get 3 months free for purchasing before 30 September 2008!

What happens if I dont do anything about it?

  1. Your account will continue to work but you and anyone else viewing your profile will only have access to the 200 most recent images uploaded.

There is a work around to this; although your photo stream will only show the 200 most recent images your older images are still on flickr and will display if you have a direct link to them. you can start a blog and blog each photo so that there is a link to all of your photos. I'm sure there are a lot of other workarounds but I think should have the idea now.

you might want to consider upgrading to a pro account just for the unlimited storage; This is a great way to backup all of your photos just in case of drive failure.
