About my gerbils poo (not being to rude)

this is gona sound really crude but every time i clean out my gerbils i never c droppings in the cage but wen i clean out my mouse cage i do are the gerbils eating it or so i clean them out every monday it wierd how i never seen none wt u fink it is

  1. Thats because they don't need cleaning every week, Gerbils are desert and in the wild they don't have access to water, and lots of food., whereas mice are a urban rodent and p**p more.

    I have 2 gerbils and I only clean there tank every 3 weeks, because they don't even stink till 4-5 weeks!, in my 15 gallon tank(small). You should save yourself the time and money and stop cleaning it weekly. Also they be hiding the little that they have in a buried toilet spot, gerbils are usually more cleaner than hamsters and mice, because they don't usually just p**p everywhere, it's kind of like how you barely see cat p**p because they bury it, versus how you see dog p**p everywhere.

    I wouldn't worry about thinking that they're eating it, the only reason they would do that is if they are not getting enough Vitamin B in there diet, so if you witness them eating there f***s I wouldn't worry, just go look for a gerbil food higher in vitamin B.
