About my period(woman only)?

i just turned 14 on august 22 and i got my period yesterday for the first time and i wana know if i clean down there before i put a pad on and also if anything else i should know about periods

well take a shower 1st then put ya pad on. if you have cramps take a pain reliever if they are really bad. eat and drink protein because yur loosing blood. just talk to your mom an she can tall you the rest

Take daily baths/showers... Or take one every-other-day, whichever you're more comfortable with.

You don't need to clean down there before putting on a pad. Usually, removing any blood with toilet paper after going to the bathroom should be enough.

To help with any cramps you may have, try light exercise, or a heat-pad. Painkillers also help.

Try to avoid eating heavy foods during your period, as it may increase the amount of blood and cramping... But make sure to get plenty of protein and iron.

you don't have to clean down there but you can, its not gonna hurt anything. if anything it will just keep you from smelling. lol

there isn't too too much to tell about periods, they're pretty simple, just if you start using tampons make you you change them all the time and never leave them in too long

u can clean urself as u usually would. um...something u should know about periods...hm.... i guess i will just tell u that if u r cramping movign around alot can help with the pain. having ur period is no big deal. u have nothing to worry about...the only thing u need to pay attention to is not letting it stain ur underwear! lol good luck
