a student decides to make a closer study of the food she eats, she uses a razor blade to make a very thin section from a raw potato and mounts it in a drop of water on a slide. to her disappointment, she can barely make out the cells under the microscope. what might she do to improve her results?

  1. 1) You have to add an iodine solution to stain the sample so you can see the cells more clearly.

    2)I'm not sure but it could be that the light intensity would increase because you are looking at the sample at a much more closer range?
