About old battery?

it is said that you shouldn't throw the old battery into the waste basket.How could i do with it?

Depending on the size of the battery up to cell phone size and down to little hearing aid batteries, some place like Radio Shack normally takes them. Anything bigger, most places like Battery's Plus will take them, and automobile batteries should go there or to an automobile shop or recycle place. You may get a few bucks for most batteries of any size now a days for the lead in them.

individually, put your AA Batteries in the microwave for 3 seconds.  they will work for a little longer.  found this out when i was a kid going on a family vacation.  needed more batteries for my walkman, and decided to try this method.  it worked.  I cant remember how long the batteries lasted for, but it was a little bit.

Do not put 2 batteries or more in there at the same time, and no longer than 3 seconds.
