About paper or plasic?

hmm well we aren't killing trees if we use plasic and people say plasic is killing other things so i guess maybe we should start usein cloth bags... I work at a store and alot of people use plasic bags more so than paper, I my self use plasic because i can carrie more in one trip than i could usein paper and when it is raining the plasic bags dont rip and all my food falls to the ground.. But thats how i feel, i don't know if anyone else feels the same or not.

I know what you mean.  Sometimes my paper bag rips too.  Also some people have a lot of uses for plastic, like if they have a pet they always get plasic because they can reuse the bag by putting the pet litter in the bag (and throwing it away).  

I try to bring my paper bags back to the store to reuse it, and I also get 5 cents back on the bill (yes!).  The cloth bag idea is new to me, but I might try it.  Otherwise, I always reuse the paper bags that I get for some purpose in my house.

Plastic is made from fossil fuels and fixes the carbon so that it will not be released as CO2.  Paper is a renewable resource, pulp wood is grown as a crop.
