Check out the CIA World Book of facts.  In it you will see what tribes are found in Ghana.  Surely that is what you mean, right?  Cause there are many tribes of Africans in Ghana... Konkomba, Dagbani, Fulani... the list goes on and on... Check that website out and see if that answers your question.  :-)

They are the origin of the Bantu.  Just do a search on BANTU and see the migritory map to the south into Botswana and South Africa. . .a long time ago.  I worked around a Ghanian nurse and tried some Bantu words and she actually understood many of them with a slight differece of pronunciation.
