  1. thats quite normal to still be bleeding most woman stop upto 8 weeks after the birth after having my child i was bleeding for 8 weeks some days were heavy and some light its all totally normal congratulations on your son :)

  2. Are you Breastfeeding? that makes the bleeding last longer, I was Breastfeeding and bled til around 8 weeks..I had an infection though so i dont know if this is supposed to happen!!...If you are concerned about it see your doctor.. Sometimes its just nice to get reassurance for your peace of mind.

  3. i was bleeding until about eight weeks then it started to slow down to a lighter flow things take time to settle down don't worry see your gp to put your mind at rest

  4. could be normal or not.  how are you feeling otherwise. if you're doing too much (baby, housework, work, working out, etc) it can cause you to bleed more. do you notice a decrease in bleeding if you rest for a few hrs? if so it's because you are doing too much. in many cultures the mother does nothing for 6 weeks and family members take care of baby (other than nursing) and housework so mom can rest.  remember up until recently it was common to die in pregnancy, at birth or post partem. did you go to your 6wk follow-up? if not call and make an appt today.
