will a primary credit card (CC) holder removing a secondary user in the same CC after 'sometime' hurt secondary user's credit. Say, limit is 10,000, and primary card used 7000, and secondary 2000. now primary card holder left the country (or is hidden somewhere for sometime) and told secondary user has to pay his monthly dues. Secondary pays for sometime, but isnt able to, after that, .. He has been using the CC for few years already so is in dilemma. In this scenario, he wants his name to be scrapped from the credit card altogether or just pay what he spent. Can the secondary cancel himself by calling the CC people? can the primary do that without affecting the secondary? what is the way to help secondary here?

  1. First order your credit report and check or your SS on this card, some times they put secondary user without SS, just a name, if this a case you are not responsible for paying this card at all. If this CC will show on your credit report, then you fully responsible for all amount, they will not take one user out until card will be pd in full. Good Luck!
