About red foxes?

ok i need some facts about red foxes because there is one that keeps coming around my house and scaring me and idk what he wants so send me a website or tell me somethings

It is very rare for folks to see red foxes around their homes, so consider yourself lucky.  They may have been pushed out of their normal habitat by local construction or competition from other foxes that were pushed out.  They will prey upon small dogs and cats, so it could be serious if you have outdoor pets.  The best thing to do is contact your local wildlife authority for information.  They may have a humane trapping program and could catch and relocate the fox or foxes.

If you are scared merely because of his presence, don't be.  Foxes are omnivores, and will search for berries, nuts, grubs, and other sources for food.  He may be hitting hard times and venturing into unfamiliar territory for food.  I say enjoy it, as long as you don't have small dogs or cats outside.  

Not many people can boast about seeing a red fox from the comfort of their own home.  I think it's cool!

A fox is no more scary than a dog, in fact a dog is often times more aggressive and a serious threat when compared to a fox.

Also, there are three foxes that come around my house all the time; They are perfectly harmless to me, my dogs, and my cats [As for with cats, that just depends on if the fox is bold enough to attack them.] Why is this one scaring you? Is it acting agressive, snarling, growling, etc? Do you have small animals such as rabbits around your home? And do you live in the countryside, or..? if he comes around alot and scares you you should really get a gun, better a fox dead then him killing you

He is probably looking for food.Urban foxes mainly live by scavenging in bins or takeout boxes.They will even eat slugs and beetles.If you don't want him there, just scare him off by banging a pan with a spoon or something.(NOT with a gun!)

          Foxes are beautiful creatures and fascinating to watch.If you do want him to come and visit you, just put some cat/dog food out on a saucer and some clean water. He will not hurt you.
