  1. 1. soils contain nutrients that both plants and animals need. decomposition is the job of these worms, they recycle the energy of everything... like when we die, they collect us back to earth then to plants then eaten by animals then eaten by man again before dying :)

    2. plants produce oxygen and food. animals serve as food, company, anything and everything...they balance life cycle.

    3. no one lives outside earth because ALL living things and beings need oxygen to survive which is not present outside earth :)

  2. Earthworms breathe in the same way as their aquatic ancestors. They don't have lungs, but instead breathe through the skin. In order for gas exchange to take place this way, the outermost layers of an earthworm are thin and must be kept moist. Mucous is excreted onto the skin to keep it moist. It is also wet by body fluid which is excreted through 'dorsal pores' located along the dorsal (back) midline in the grooves between the segments. This need for moisture restricts their activities to a burrowing life in damp soil. They emerge only at night when the evaporating potential of the air is low, and retreat deep underground during hot, dry weather. Light-sensitive tissues near the worm's head enable it to detect light, so they can avoid venturing out by day.

Plants are utterly fundamental to life on earth. From single-celled algae to the planet's largest living organism, they all contribute to our world's biodiversity and generate the oxygen, food, fibres, fuel and medicine that allow human life to exist.

Our task must be to free ourselves... by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and its beauty. - Albert Einstein

The Moon has no appreciable atmosphere and temperature conditions are hostile to any form of Earth-type life. It was left to men from Earth to bring life at last to the silent, unfriendly Moon.

  3. 1. Earthworms can survive in soil that has sufficient food (mostly decaying plant matter (and one can include such processed plant products as newsprint) and moisture for them.  The soil must not be too compacted for them to tunnel, and sufficient organic matter may help with this.  The temperature range must match the species'  requirements, too.  2.  Plants are important to us as the primary portion of our food chain, plus oxygenation of our atmosphere.  Animals are needed for pollination of plants, their place in the energy cycle, converting plants' stored energy into protein and fat foods, and converting plant materials to waste, and so returning nutrients to the soil and water portions of the system, albeit with the help of other decomposers, such as bacteria and yeast.  3.  I don't think that our moon's relatively weak gravity has anything to do with the presence of living things.  Living things, which may exist in extreme rarity on the moon, have requirements for temperature ranges and nutrients availability for the organisms to be supported.  One means to make nutrients available is to dissolve them in water.  The moon doesn't appear to have much water, and the small amount of (probably frozen) water present would not provide a suitable solution of nutrients for most organisms.

  4. as we build our houses, they make holes in the soil and build their own homes. thats why. 2. they provide our basic needs like food, clothing and shelter. 3. bcoz of the gravitational pull and the amount of oxygen
