About signing a contract bond?

Recently my boss told me that i got oppurunity to fly to Woodlands, Texas for our new process (BPO). However, he also told me that i need to sign a one year bond with the company. If the bond is breach the within a year, i need to pay 2 lakhs to company as the compensation. Kindly suggest if i breach that bond,do really my company wil sue me?

  1. Yes, they have every right to sue you, and they probably will. You signed a legal and binding contract. They can sue you for breach of contract, so it's better to not break it.
