About tears? Do you Know?

Question

I know what tears are made of, when it show up, how it show up, but I don't know why really it show up / what is the benefit of tears. So, do you have the answers?

they are there to clean the dirt out of your eye.

hmm... well the obvious answer is that they come from emotions, either joy, sadness, anger, laughter. Usually from my personal experience, when I'm very upset, the tears help get that extra burden off my chest so I'd assume they are there to relieve oneself from that emotion or I guess express the emotion further! Hope that helped!

Tears in normal production are to lubricate your eyes - in excess with emotion, I don't think they serve any purpose - it just happens.

Normally they continuously are produced and drain into your nose - which is why when you cry your nose runs.

The benifit of tears is to remove toxins from your body. Maybe if you have noticed that you feel better after you cry and tears are produced, that you feel better emotionally and physically. Thats because some of the toxins from your body have been removed.
