Technically speaking, if it was doomsday, humanity is gone, who is going to plant those seeds?

  1. One of reasons for the vault is in case an unknown disease wipes out vast areas (a whole country or continent) of crops.

  2. Why not?

    Survival?

With all the original seeds lost with time?

When Dr. Jeykll Mr. Hyde mess it all up to extinction?

    Luke 8.10,17

    What do you think?

  3. isnt someone supposed to be stationed there? or atleast around there?

  4. Mankind has proven to be amazingly hard to kill.  Should there be a war or other disaster, some people would survive.  These vaults would help re-stock our crops in the event of said disasters.  Though I hope such a thing never happens, it's good to know that someone has the welfare of those survivors in mind.  Besides, storing seeds is good insurance against disease and crop failures, and it helps the preserve to pure, original strains of our various crops.

  5. the theory is that some remnants of humanity will remain

and it will probably be the selct few who know the truth behind the doomsday vault so that it can be accessed

  6. their may be a few that make it, and if its me Ill start my trek to that bank, wheat , oats, cucumbers. onions. in the event of an all out nuke war these things will be the building blocks of a new man, Einstein said that that the third war would be foughtwith nukes and the fourth word war will be fought with sticks and stones. Ill be plowing while yall are fighting.

  7. I will......however it will cost you !
