About the Adam/Eve story?

Question

Even a child knows that this story is a Mythical narrative. If this first koranic story is a Myth what makes you think everything else we read in the koran are not based on Myths that originated in the middle east?

The Adam and Eve story does not make sense. They have two sons named Cain and Abel. Cain kills Abel. So if that was true then how did the world populate? Did Cain have sexual intercourse with his own mother? If so then why do Muslims have a hard time believing Lot did the same with his two daughters.

Can a Muslim please explain this to me?

Meekal your still presuming more children were born. If that was the case then not everybody was a desendant of Adam and Eve?

Meekal- If your theory is indeed true then would you say incest is acceptable?

Meekal- It is a simple yes or no question. If your theory was true would incest be acceptable?

Meekal- If Muslims cannot work out who was Adam's descendants. Then how do they know the genealogy from Muhammad to Adam?

OK, if we are not capable of proving it, can you disprove it?

I mean, nobody will say we have the knowledge of the mystery of the beginning of creation, or the exact details of evolution. Evolution is not a belief system, it is science. However, it still can't explain lots of things. There are still gaps in our knowledge and you can't claim something which hasn't been proved.

If you don't mind, may I ask why do you ask this same questions for the 3rd time, as far as I know? I mean seriously, "Love from Iran", I want to know why do you waste your own time. I am not insulting you or anything, I just want to know one thing. If you are on a quest for finding a true religion or finding proof for the existence of God, this is not going to get you anywhere. But if you don't want this and you just want to "warn" Muslims about the "errors" in their religion, why do you even waste your time? I mean if you believe you are going to die and not wake up again, why do you waste your time on this? I really do want to know. I think it would be better if you started an honest quest for finding the truth you're looking for.

I am not going to invent something to answer you. However, as far as I know, if no mention is made of girls being born, it doesn't mean they were never born.

As I said, I don't want to invent something which didn't happen. Maybe, Adam and Eve had girls and there was no ruling to prevent marriage between siblings (if there was marriage). As I said, I'm just saying that it COULD have been that way.

As I said, there could have been no ruling on marriage between siblings. And as I said, it is just a thought.

I think I answered you, incest isn't confined to siblings' relationship. I guess now you just want me to say "Yes" and thus you say "HA!". Whatever I say, I guess, won't matter. I mean, there could have been lots of children of Adam and Eve who spread to different parts of the world and had further generations (and possibly started between brothers and sisters at first, I know, you would comment on that). Again, it is just a thought. Now, let me guess, copy and paste the same question?

I don't think it is a valuable information (for me) to know; the genealogy of Muhammed (pbuh) up to Adam (pbuh). Maybe there are Muslims out there who are concerned about this and have found possible answers to the question. But, as I said, I don't think it would be of valuable information (to me).

It mentioned about creation of Adam & Eve. But no detail story about them in Quran. I guess not important.

I haven't read the Koran. But in terms of the Bible, I think most people realize that it is a collection of tales that serve to teach a valuable lesson.

the bible says that there were more children to adam and eve other than those two... i believe enoch is the one mentioned as being born after the slaying... so it is easy to think that there wer far more mates to choose from but yeah it would all eventually come back to incest.
