We just bought an HTV and one of its features allows us to switch from analog to digital television. Does this mean that we don't have to buy a converter box for it?

  1. Yes.

The TV has the digital tuner built in. Another thing - it can probably receive digital cable (QAM) signals too. If it has a Cablecard slot it can get the premium channels as well.

  2. Yes you don't need a converter box for that tv. You do need an antenna though.
