There are many conditions that cause bleeding in the retina, but stroke is not one of them.

There are two conditions sometimes called "eye stroke" that can cause bleeding in the retina.

do you have diabetes?  bleeding behind your eye can be causes by diabetic retinopathy(BDR) but not limited to

a stroke in the eye is called a Central Retinal Vein Occlusion(CRVO) or branch retinal vein occlusion(BRVO)

definition:  a peice of plaque get clogged in a vein of the eye and stops blood flow therefore damaging the retina
