  1. Avoid sugar and high amounts of carbohydrates.  Eat balanced meals with whole grains at regular times.

    Losing weight helps control diabetes.

  2. Its hard to find something but this article seems to be pretty good. Avoid Rice and Potatoes as those are pretty big parts of Indian cooking.

  3. In general, eat protein and green vegetables. Avoid all white foods (bread, rice, potatoes).

  4. Most dietitians will give you a diet that has meals that have no more than 45 carbs per meal.  This is like one serving of meat, and 2 veggies.  Meat does not have carbs, but normally veggies do.  Eat 3 meals a day containing no more than 45 carbs and have 2 daily snacks that are no more than 15 carbs each.  You will have to figure out how many carbs your favorite foods contain and go from there.  A diabetic diet is usually low on the carbs. Make an appointment with a dietitian or nutritionist and she will help a lot

  5. eat 2 rotis made of tht saffola atta for diabetics of shakti atta most subjys OK but not too much aloo and chaval and drink only sugar free things
