About the elliptical...?

You know how you can adjust it to target quads, gluteal, hamstrings, and calves? Well, what is it doing to those muscle groups? Is the elliptical just causing you to lose weight in those areas or tone and reshape the muscles?

  1. i think its strengthening them so if theres fat there it will burn it but you muscle will get  bigger

With the exception of a couple of somewhat dodgy prescription only drugs you cannot, no way,  not ever target fat loss.  Exercise combined with the right nutrition (and rest) will hep you lose body fat and gain/tone muscle.  The elliptical is targeting those muscles and toning/building them up.
