My husband left for the Navy RTC June 30th(date by which pay is in effect after 15 days of begin there). It is now August 1st. He did not get any pay on the 15th or yet today. The messed up and lost all our marriage information so in the beginning they marked him as single, though me fixed all that on July 24th. Is it possible that he might not be paid until August 15th due to the change after July 23rd? I ask because if the information is not entered by the 7th or 23rd the pay would not come the following pay date.

I have bills and he has bills. And don't give me that,"Get a job ****." I'm 7 months pregnant and I already tired to get a job a looong time ago and have to watched the new? People are getting laid off and all the small jobs are being ate up! I know about the no interest loan but I can't do that until after the 15th. This is why I'm asking about the pay. I really don't have to worry really but I would like to know and hear any information/experiences with this.

  1. Military pay is distributed on the 1st and 15th day of the month. If the 1st or 15th fall on a weekend or national holiday payment will be made the working day prior.

All his pay will be computed from the first day of his active duty - the day he shipped to boot camp. Any pay not received will be made up for in a future check. If he made an allotment, those allotments should be paid when due. Check with the recruiter if there are issues, he can contact RTC if there is a need.

  2. well you will have to wait till the 15th, i am not sure how long it takes, but since he just left on the 30th of june, then yea it will proabably be the 15th before he gets a check, but it might not be that much because they do take out the money for his necesities and things like that.
