About the global warming

What would you have us do? Kill off all the Human Race and give it back to the animals? Technology and engineering and science are the SAVIOURS of the planet not the problem.

Third World countries burning forests and wood for heating and cooking are causing the most obnoxious problems in the world.

I think humans have a part in it. With the drilling for oil and such. And also the carbon dioxide in the air.

But, the earth had like what...3 ice ages... so I think its just a cycle the planet goes through. =]

This is a problem that has been ignored for over 30 years, and the biggest reason for it is people desires, and greed.

We have all wanted the convenience of the Gas powered cars, and the oil companies have wanted the profits from it.

While others have cut down the rain forest to make room for crops, and the money that the wood sold for.

While cutting trees for the wood is not that big a problem to the environment as long as trees are planted to replace them.

Factories have saved a lot of money by not installing filters to reduce their air pollution.

Car manufacturers could make eco-friendly cars just as inexpensively as they can make Gas or Diesel powered ones, they would just have to change their production lines.

and the list goes on, and on, and on.

there are many reasons.

the main reasons are the big contributors of CO2 in the air. mainly, the transportation sector. there is technology that allows electric cars to exist since the 70's, yet, we use gas burning Eco-killing cars. why? cause the gas companies pay the automakers to make gasoline cars. why? so the gas companies don't go out of business. in the mid 90's, automakers released electric vehicles but withdrew their fleets cause the gas companies gave them some $$$$$$$$$$$.... watch the movie who killed the electric car on youtube...its really informative. but there is hope! Nissan is comming out with an electric car in 2010 and they're going to mass produce it in 2012!!!

and there are other electric cars out there. like the tesla roadster. it can out perform any ferrari, corvette, mustang, or whatever you throw at it. cause electric motors have superior torque. and a full charge last longer than a tank of gas on any of those cars. check that out on youtube too!

hmm let me ask you this instead?

Do you wear clothes? Do you live in a house? Do you eat, do you use electricity? You do missy! I do also, we are the people that demand our needs and we want them cheap too, so other people have to exploit the environment to get them for us... its not cool i know, but everyone should shoulder the blame. What we want to do is try and direct our spendings and c**p away from those companies with cheap resources, sucks for us, but in a few thousand years we will get there if we all pitch in.

Global Warming is a process, by which, due to man`s wrong interaction with the nature, the temperature of the globe is increasing in alarming rate, threatening, that the snow cap of north & south pole, is melting and thus increasing the sea water level and some day, the entire world will be covered with only sea.

It is all human error, without proper planning and thinking, destroyed the environment & nature in the name of industrialisation and development.

FASTER THE DEVELOPMENT, SOONER THE DESTRUCTION.

Hey buddy i feel so proud that u r a patriot of the EARTH.I recently studied tamil works of Dr.M.b.Raman named "acha rekhai theervu rekhai" the meaning is"fearful latitudes and solvation latitudes" .It is a cool book that gives informations about how the earth had been looted and the ways of extinction of various valuable animals..and mainly the reasons.

It's the oil/coal/propane people, they want to sell a lot of fossil fuel and they know how to get us to use it.  They offer no alternative, do not blame the ordinary citizen who has zero control over this.  We have been recycling for fifty years and this is the very period that they say has gotten warmer.

Write your congressman and get a thousand to do the same.

man is only responsible for the global warming because of the use fuels for burning purposes a lot co2 is being released in the atmosphere due to which the earths surface is rising day by day and the ozone layer is being depleted which is giving rise to ozone holes and these ozone holes are resulting in the melting of the ice caps of the earth and which will lead to the summerging of the earth.
