is the maximum transfer speed really 2mbps?

if so why cant it be more than that like 4mbps?

any ideas?

  1. The only limit on internet transfer speed is dependant on your current ISP and Internet package. For example I have 5mbps using Netvision. But VL-Telecom offers 68mbps.
