  1. I'm not going to click the link, but yes, if you follow the self magazine program, you should lose weight, maybe a little more or less than the 8 pounds it suggests depending on your unique body.

    Most routines and plans in health-oriented magazines (not women's weekly etc., which is usually a crash diet) are nice, basic starting points.  Their only limitation is that the food tends to be a bit boring, but once you feel more confident, you can mix it up a bit more and get a little more creative while still cooking healthily.
