  1. I believe that its happening a little bit but not as much as the news says and exaggerates we do need to do our part to "save" the earth, but not as jurassic as the news and al gore says so, like don't drive or not have electricity.

  2. i don't believe in most of it though i do believe Antarctica and alaska and greenland are melting and causing are sea levels to rise

  3. It is very, very true and real. This process is natural too. The earth changes its temperature throughout the centuries. However, due to us humans relying so widely on electricity and fuel, this climate change has sped. It isn't nearly as bad as the news reports it, but it will get worse over time. You can see this with your own eyes. The Temperatures rise, causing ice caps to melt, causing sea levels to rise, causing extreme weather fronts, causing death. This process is going to be slow, but it is happening.

  4. Sorry but every so called fact they have presented to me convinced me more it is a big oil sponsored con game.

  5. The fact that the polar caps are melting is a good indication. Animals are going extinct that thrive in the coldest areas. The ocean currents are warming and moving further north. These things along with the radical changes in the weather pretty much prove global warming is happening. The only real unknown is WHY? it is happening.

  6. sure seems real to me:

<<After last year's thin ice cover, the North Pole (ice) is poised to vanish due to global warming in a short time

DailyTech has previously covered the frantic pace of melt in Greenland, which is accelerating, dumping vast amounts of water into the sea.  Meanwhile, the North Pole has been steadily melting away as well.  Fortunately, the North Pole ice is floating, and thus will not affect sea levels, but its dissolution is an important indicator of warming.

While some remain critical that global warming is occurring at all, the melting of the North Pole represents a sharp indicator against voices of doubt.  Now scientists are predicting that a major milestone will be reached this summer or next -- the disappearance of the North Pole's ice cover during the Arctic Summer.

To most, imagining the North Pole without ice -- only water -- is an incredible prospect.  But that's the reality of a warming world.>>

  7. Sure the earth is warming. It has been for the last 18,000 years or so since the last ice age. And, the glaciers have been melting for that same amount of time. There is nothing new about the temp changing and the glaciers melting etc. In the last 18,000 years, the temp has risen about 16degrees and the water levels have risen over 300 feet. The thing is, it is all natural. We should be spending money adapting to any possible change, not throwing money away on rediculous scams. Looking at the following graph, you can see that in the last 450,000 years, the earth has gone through the same warming 4 times. The only difference is that the current warming is cooler than  the previous.

  8. I think it's mostly media c**p, but some of it is real. Like the melting of Alaska

  9. I've been around this planet for awhile now and watched the media cycles.  I think it's a bunch of nonsense that someone wants to make money from.  They can't adequately predict the weather from day to day, or hour to hour.  What makes anyone think they can predict the future of the planet?!  Even if they were correct, stuff happens to change the environment almost daily, in the natural world.  It's money that's moving the idea forward, someone wants to profit in some way, either fortune or fame.

  10. It's not true. The earth has been around for BILLIONS of years, so why in the world should we be making judgments on climate change trends based on a hundred year period? That's like making a judgment of the ocean based on a single drop of water.
