About to be 17, party ideas?

I'm going to have a birthday party this summer.... i'll be inviting a lot of people so I'm not gonna have it at my house. .. I was thinking about having a pool party but what are some good ideas and stuff to do. Thanksss

You may have a friend whose neighborhood has a recreation room with a pool that he can reserve for your party.  Have a bunch of noodles and beach balls all over the room to use out in the pool.

That's a great idea.If you are unable to do that,what I always like to do on my birthday is go out to dinner with friends.It's easy to do,and enjoyable as well.

Look around your neighborhood and see if there's a space you can rent and than bring in your furniture, decorations, food and music.

so if you are not having it at your house then where?  a friend's? a hotel?  a local park?  It is hard to say what to do without knowing that.  

If you are able to decorate:

Luau, beach Hawaii: Orientaltrading has the coolest decorations and favors for this theme and the cutest tropical invitation in the bottle. Give your guests leis as they come in. Play Limbo, Hula hoop, and have a few grass skirts and everyone (including the guys) have to give hulaing a try. Again if you have room to do this at home or you can rent a small room.  Tropical pinata.  Twister.  Hawaii games:  http://www.alohafriendsluau.com/games.ht...  I just came back from the dollar tree store and they had everything you need to have a party.  They had all kids of luau items.  They had invitations, plates, cups, tablecloths, etc., They had an inflatable luau stick to play limbo, they had all kids of luah music CD, leis, skirs, coconut bras,  straw hats, wall decorations, and I go on on forever and all 1 buck a piece.  Have everyone wear hawaii shirts.

Or get stuff online at oriental trading, party cheap, card factory outlet, u.s. toy company, windy city novelites, shindigz.
