  1. If you like peanuts.. pad thai is what they are most famous for. But i like lemongrass chicken and drunken noodles ( drunken noodles are flat noodles with whatever meat is offered by resturaunt, basil.. yummy :) ).. Drunken noodles are my favorite :)

  2. Im sorry, but I dont understand what you mean by thai food.

  3. You should order Thai Green Curry, Pandan Chicken (I just love these 2) & probably Papaya Salad.

  4. Pad Thai is the best! Also try their Spicy beef salsd! TO die for!! Enjoy!

  5. thai chicken with basil

  6. Thai chicken fried rice with basil

  7. For an appetizer you should try the summer rolls - they're like spring rolls but wrapped in thin rice paper and have vegetables and fresh mint in them. Mm.

I love larb, which is made with chicken or pork, onions, and various spices like coriander and mint. It's delicious and refreshing - not spicy at all.

Tom Ka Ghai soup is delicious as well, with chicken and coconut milk.

My favorite entree is a red curry with chicken. It's made with a coconut milk sauce that gives it a creamy consistency. (If it's gloopy, it's  not very well made.) It also usually has an assortment of vegetables in it, and comes with rice to soak up the curry.

I also love a good Pad Thai, which is the standard Thai meal, made with noodles and your choice of meat.

To go with your meal, I recommend a Thai Iced Tea, which is a very sweet iced tea with condensed milk. It's really sweet but it nicely counter-balances the food.

If you have problems with spicy foods you can ask the waitress to have it made mild, because otherwise it might be too hot. Whenever I take my friends to Thai restaurants they end up thinking the food is a little too spicy.

Good luck! Hope you like it!

  8. theres this stuff thats kind of like, a powdered noodle but it has pepper on it and is usuall cooked in peanut oil. you can usually get it at most thai restaraunts

  9. Try Pad Thai. It's delicious. Hope you enjoy it. =]

  10. it all depends on what restaurant you go to. I spent one month in Thailand, traveling it from the central penn -up. The food varied, but one thing I always loved was the Tom Ka soup, green curry.

They have Tam ka almost everywhere now, and I haven't tasted a bad version yet, but restaurants can be cheap sometimes that's why I encourage you to go to one with a *good rep*. I mean I have tasted things from Thai restaurants that are so cut rate. They often think we are stupid westerners who can't tell the difference. If you go to a decent restaurant chances are you can't go wrong -

PS be clear about how spicy you want things to, Thia's often like burn-your-tongue-off spiciness.

  11. Line your stomach with gold

  12. The Panang. Also known as Red Curry. Delicious.

  13. pad thai or spicy peanut chicken
