I get my exam results on the 21st August. My parents have been divorced for ten years now and i see my dad once a month, we dont have many conversations but i know he would want to know my results, how do you think i should tell him, should i phone or text him, arrange to meet him or just wait until the next time i go to his house?!?!

  1. If he lives locally go see him, if he doesn't please ring him,I sure he will be really proud of you.Good luck

  2. It all depends on how you want to tell them based on how you feel. If you think you can wait, then that's okay. If you feel anxious to tell them, then you can call them up or even arrange to meet them for the good news.

    Hope this helps

  3. woo im getting my results too on the 21st!!

    well scared though!!

id ring him on the day:)

  4. If it is something that you are really excited about, tell your parents in person.

  5. Just call him the day you get them. It will mean a lot to him and then you won't have it hanging over your head. You can just do it and get it over with.

  6. Phone or text as soon as you get them, would be my suggestion. I suspect that he would appreciate knowing that he was in your thoughts and you wanted to share them with him, good or bad.

    Hope that helps. Good luck

  7. arrange to meet him! he would appreciate it more, and I'm sure he would feel better speaking to you face to face.If your mum found out just say you are responsible enough to speak with your own dad.

  8. phone him when you get them...then arrange to meet up...i'm guessing that you're receiving A Level results...oh i remember my time now...
