About to make my decision, dress.?

It would help if there were similar views of the different dresses, all we have to go on is the pattern, which is also very similar.  The first pattern looks overdone.  The second one is subtler and more elegant looking.  I'd go with 2.

I personally am not a big fan of metalic // glittery pieces on dress gowns. To me things like rhinestones, fabric glitter, etc look cheesey, and sorta like a bad promdress D:

I agree with the  two answers above me, those  photos look like two different views of the same dress. But photo number 2 looks better, you have a waist and hips in that dress, a little s**y without  being too over the top.

Do you have better pics of both dresses?  The first pic is good but I'd like to see the back compared to the second dress.  I don't particularly like the look of the first one on you - it just seems to make you look wider than you are.  It may just be the photo though.

My vote would have to be for the second dress.  I love how this fits your body - it looks lovely in the pic - but as I said - it would be good to have a better pic and one from the front so we can compare them a bit better.

The first one, by far.  I like the way it falls to the floor.  I think the lines of the second one will not "age" as well in pictures (think mermaid dresses from the '80s-yikes!), whereas the first one is more timeless.  I think the neckline is nice, too, and I like the crystals a lot.  

Tell the groom he is VERY lucky.

looks like 2 different views of the same dress to me.

edit:  well to make an actual decision I would have to see the front view of the second dress and I dont tend to pay much attention to the back of the bride at the wedding, I tend to look at the front view.  To be honest though....from what I see, they look so much the same that is doesnt matter what one you pick.  congrats and good luck.

they look like the same dress to me. I think the #2 back picture is pretty but I would have to see the front of the dress. the front of the first dress is pretty but a bit too busy for me.

Do you have a picture of the second one with a front view?  It's hard to see what it looks like from that small little picture.

Personally, each picture looks like the same dress. The second picture just looks like the back view of the first picture. The dress is beautiful and looks good on you! So even if each picture isn't the same dress you look beautiful in the first one! Good luck and Congrats on your engagement!
