Im acually just a bit smaller now, lost a little water weight. Just as strong though. Anyway im 5'10", 174 lbs. My 40 yard dash is 4.74, my vertical jump is a pathetic 25, 26 inches.

I need to get faster on my 40 yard dash and jmp a lot higher, but ive also wanetd to get bigger. What should i focus on? I play receiver/cornerback. WHat are some things i can do?? Jump with ankle weights? jumping squats? Thanks for the help, i really wanna be able to start/get a little playing time as im only a freshman but im pretty good. Thanks again

  1. I don't know about jumping squats sounds like a good way to get hurt weights or not.

squats and sprints will be your best bet. weighted lunges and lots of stretches.

    stretch

    squats

    protein

    stretch

    sprints

    hydrate

    stretch

    you'll get there

  2. Start doing squats and dead lifts. You obviously know how to get big, but now you need to get explosive. That means performing your reps quickly. Get your squat max up and then look into adding plyometrics to your workout. There's a lot of good info here http://verticalleaptraining.blogspot.com
