In my nightmare i was being raped and I was trying very very hard to scream and yell. Of course i was unable to do that. So i remember using the palms of my hands and smashing my wall. When i woke up the next morning i literally put two holes in my walls and other dents where my hands had been repeatedly smashing the wall. I have never heard of this ever happening before and it has me really really frightened. I was just wondering if anyone has ever heard of this happening before and if so what does this mean. Also my hands didn't even feel sore the next day? Can someone please help me?

  1. Yes, I have heard of similar things happening before. A friend of mine used to sleep walk which can be quite dangerous.

Nightmares are often a cushion for stressful experiences. If you are worried that something bad will happen you might dream that it will come to pass as a means of psychologically preparing for it. Or you might be suffering from PTSD from a previous rape or molestation. If so, effective treatments are available.

In my younger days I used to practice marshal arts. I was able to break boards with my hands and not feel sore the following day. That you could punch through a gypsum wall without ill effects does not surprise me.

  2. wow, u r disturbed

  3. It's normal to do things while you're asleep, like talking in your sleep or in your case banging holes in the wall, it's just a really deep sleep and you feel like it's real. And it's normal to be unable to scream when you need too, it's a human fear of being helpless. Your hands may not be sore because you could of had so much force in the bang that you didn't feel it like when someone chops a piece of wood in half only using their hand. But about being raped, ask yourself what might have triggered it, it's always good to know.
