I don't think I'm old enough to have s*x. I know I'm too young, but I can't help it cause I love her and I know SHE doesn't have herpes! I'm safe.

  1. its probly a yeast infection. get some monostate from the store and use that, if its still the same after a week of useing monostae, go to a free clinic

  2. Hiya

Yes sounds like it could be thrush.  You can get it if say your bf had a sore throat etc.

It may have just been caused by the fact it was damp down there if you know what I mean.

Its a common thing that some girls suffer with quite often and may not even be related to what you;ve been getting up to.

You can buy thrush creams/peseries at the chesmist. So go and buy one - should clear it up within a few days. Or tell your mum you think you have thrush - you dont need to tell her what went on and she wont guess as it can happen to anyone one sexually actuve or not. Using sanitary towels even can bring it on for some women

  3. Depends. If your male friend happens to be infected with herpes 1 or 2 it could be the gift that keeps on giving.  Letting your parents know is tantamount to receiving the proper treatment.

You think you are old enough to have s*x, then be old enough to accept the consequences.

  4. yes, it can be yeast, doesn't have to necessarily be from the oral s*x.  I would get some over the counter cream from the drug store, you do not need a prescription for that.  If it doesn't clear with that medication, it's possible you contracted a bacterial vaginosis from the oral s*x, and in that case, you will need to see the doctor for an antibiotic.  I would try the yeast remedy first though.  Don't be embarassed, you can get yeast from anything-  tight pants, hormonal imbalances, antibiotic use, sometimes there isn't even a reason, you can just get it.  Welcome to being a woman, the yeast beast is not fun! Sorry!

  5. Sounds like a yeast infection, but it doesn't have to be.  Actually, your first yeast infection should be diagnosed by a pro.

Since you want to take care of this on the DL, you have a couple of options:

    1.  Find a reason to go to the doctor.  Since you're 15, it's actually time for your first pap smear.  Fun!  If that isn't enough, tell her you haven't been feeling well anyway (not a lie) and you'd really like to go ASAP.

Then it's just a matter of getting the meds.  Good news: if it's a yeast infection, no further subterfuge is necessary.  Yeast infections can happen to people who haven't done anything sexually, ever.  Just get the meds and get it over with!

    2.  Some public schools will allow you to nip off to planned parenthood without telling mum.  The same thing happens:  the exam, the diagnosis, the drugs.  There's an added benefit of the drugs being very low cost if you have low income or no income, and they're bound by the same privacy laws as your doc.

As tempting as it may be, I advise against using OTC yeast infection kits until you're sure it's a yeast infection!
