  1. With all these reasons, i hope u would be physically, emotionally and mentally well...

1>> I became a vegan because it is a better nutritional diet.

2>> Vegan are healthier because the average vegan is lighter than the average meat eater in Britain.

3>> I became a Vegan because I was told about what happens to meat in the gut. It stays there for ages and rots, getting infected with bacteria.

4>> I became a Vegan because I care about what I put into my body. I don’t want to put chemicals in there, nor anything dead. Plants are natural, so they can’t be harmful. The more you prune and pluck, more branches and fruits it yields.

5>> I became a Vegan, because I want to live in a more natural way.

6>> I became a Vegan, because stock farming is not economically viable. We could feed the Third World if everyone became a Vegan.

7>> I became a Vegan because I don’t want to finance death. I don’t mind wearing a woollen jumper, because they don’t kill the sheep to get the wool.

8>> I became a Vegan because I think that farming animals is cruel. Politicians & Religious idols do not care for animals. Current government subsidies do not cushion the animal welfare. Most farmers do not care about the welfare of their animals; If do, it would become be too expensive for them to sell.

9>> I became a Vegan because crop farming is more efficient than stock farming. 100 units of food energy fed to an animal become only 10 units of meat, so meat production is inefficient.

10>> I don't want to eat anything that I wouldn't be prepared to kill myself, though leisurely.

11>> I don't want to eat anything that I wouldn't be prepared to kill by myself, though leisurely.

12>> I became a Vegan because we don’t need meat to survive.

13>> I became a Vegan because I don’t want to shorten the dairy cow’s natural lifespan from 25 years to 11 years.

14>> I became a Vegan because that’s the way society is going. Thousands of people every minute are becoming Vegetarian. Killing and butchering will be regarded as taboo one day.

    15>> I became a Vegan because I’m a biologist; I know how the ecosystem & biodiversity works.

16>> I became a Vegan because it is the future. There is an annoying connection made by many people that the way things are going is necessarily good, and/or inevitable. Perhaps the current trends are bad, and the future will not be as good as it could be. Perhaps things are heading a certain way, but this does not mean that we are powerless to stop them, nor does it mean that we should not try. This argument does not work either. One has to supply actual reason for vegetarianism, and this is not a reason, it is just an excuse at best.

17>> I became a Vegan simply because my craving supersedes my love towards animals.

18>> I became a Vegan because many scientists, philosophers, environmentalists, humanitarians, spiritualists, thinkers and SICK PERSONS were/are abstained from meat. Meat is absolutely not necessary to make smart and healthy.

19>> AT LAST - THE REAL REASON PEOPLE BECOME VEGAN

Vegetarianism is the new Puritanism. This is my belief. It is also one of my arguments towards vegetarianism, and although it may at first seem a flippant argument, I believe that it is very powerful. Vegetarianism is miserable. It attacks one of life’s greatest and surest pleasures - enjoying good food and linger around the societal norm. Anything which makes people less happy is bad.

  2. To answer your questions yes, I do feel a lot better than I did when I ate meat. I feel better physically and mentally. I feel cleaner, my skin has improved drastically and I feel more energized and alert. I haven't become physically weaker, nor stronger, I am still the same person I always was, just healthier. When someone has a steak near me, I don't die at all! Them having a steak has nothing to do with me, I'm not putting it in my body, they are putting it in their body. That's their choice to eat steak just as it's my choice not to eat steak or any other meat.

  3. all three- no

I've been vegetarian since birth, for my dad's ethical reasons. Therefor, I didn't experience any change, emotionally, mentally, or physically. However, I am in AP (advanced placement) classes, am not obese, and am rarely sick compared to a lot of kids I know (maybe partially because of diet).

Physically weaker- I'll be honest, I suck horribly at sports. Other than that, I don't have any allergies, and get sick often.

Dieing when people have steaks - No, although sometimes when I see meat shops or those markets with the live fish, I feel a little sad and angry. It does upset me that some people can beat a fish to death with a club many times per day and still feel good again.

Edit: Robert K, what you said is true. If I was starving with my life on the brink of death, it is instinct to eat, and I doubt would be able to overcome the crave for food. So I might kill an animal in that situation. Of course, I would look for other food sources, first.

However, the situation now is different. There are plenty of food sources available to me, and without eating meat, I'm not on the brink of starvation.

  4. 1 is true the rest are a load of ****.

  5. 1. Yes. Emotionally, mentally and physically. There is no more guilt in me when I eat every meal. My mind has become clearer since becoming vegan and I believe I've learned alot because of it. And my energy is soaring high.

    2. NO

    3. NO. Its every other person's choice whether to eat meat or not.

  6. None of them. Funny thing is when a vegetarian is starving thay will do what ever to survive. Would you die or live if you had to? tat goes for lots of things

  7. 1. Yes

    2. The opposite

    3. If another person wants to have a steak, then fine. I don't agree

with it but they can do what they want, I don't care.

  8. first one is yes being vegetarian I feel lot better emotionally, mentally n physically.

physically weak no way. m active rather

I dont die if I c sm1 having steaks near me I just pity them.

last n not the least I sweat less so I use less AC using less energy  helps me in saving energy (in a lil proportion only but still).

    I dont smell bad

and with whomsoever m having food (b it b with my BF, or on a date) I have veg food and the person with me also has it so for that particular day I save a creature's life.

  9. 1. You feel "better" emotionally, mentally and physically? Yes, especially when I first started. I haven't eaten meat for more than 20 years, so I can't really notice any difference now.

    2. You become physically weaker? No. I actually had stamina and was more focused.

    3. You die a little everytime someone has a steak near you? We all die a little every day don't we? I guess somebody ate steak near me about twice in the last year and it didn't have any profound effect on me. Most of the people I know eat meat so it would be kind of silly to make a big deal out of it.

  10. 1. True to an extent. sometimes as I feel better about not contributing to animal cruelty, but now my mum yells at me for being vegan, so yeah :(

    2. Not at all, I'm actually stronger - I used to have a really crappy diet, now I can give my older brother (by 4 years) a piggy back

    3. No, it's irritating at times because I feel so sorry for that cow, but I don't go around forcing vegetarianism on people - it's a personal choice
