  1. you can only edit a pending moderated post- once a post goes to the group no one can edit it. I'm guessing it's not a moderated post, or you'd see the edit tab top right.

****a moderated post is a setting per member- if they are not moderated, they wont be moderated posts. to set a person to be moderated, you locate them within your members list- click edit membership below their ID, scroll to bottom next page

Posting Messages:    Override: This member's posts are not moderated (Edit) <-- click the edit- bottom next page select moderated- click save changes.

once a post goes to the homepage, there is no option to edit it.

the group setting of moderating new members or changing that at all only then effects those members who join after that setting change- members not moderated or moderated who were prvious members will still needs to be reset per member, individually

before making over all group setting changes, consult the group owner

  2. The first responder is absolutely right. You may want to change your settings so that all posts are moderated (go into Management; messages and posts -- choose "all moderated" or, if you don't want to moderate all posts, at least choose to moderate "new members"). You can always delete the post and ask the original sender to re-send with edits, but this won't prevent the old version from already having been e-mailed out to members.
