Above ground pool not level

We just put up an above ground pool and its about 4" off level. Should I level it or let it go?

  1. It's better level, but it still works if you let it go.


  2. You should level it.  Get some patio blocks or 4" concrete blocks and level them so they will be under the support posts for the pool then get a load of sand to level the whole area.  That is what I did and it has been working well for about 15 years.

  3. i would try to get it as level as possible because the ground does shift every so often.also remmember to pack it down as best as you can.pool company owner eleven years experince.

  4. It is best to try and get it level within one inch. If it too far off level, the shifting water can actually cause it to colapse on the high side. You should drain the pool as to not damage the liner. I also would use patio blocks to level it. I know draining and refilling is a pain, but you will be happier with the result once you do.
