Absolute monarchy question??

In absolute monarchies, is the monarch in control of all the money running through the veins of the country's economy?? If so, do they decide how much they will take for themselves like lets say $8 million dollars a year or something like that?

  1. No they don't  the allowance they are given every year is decided by the Government


  2. if the nation is a true absolute monarchy yes they have complete control over the economy, and everything else in the nation, so yes they can take whatever they want.  the definition of an absolute monarchy is one in which the monarch rules absolutely and with full power
