  1. believe me i use more horse products than ones made for humans and absobine works great.i have also used "volcanic oil liniment",polo wraps when i was in a cast to absorb shock and keep my foot warm, rawhide cream for my hands,DMSO for my knees and ankles(be careful it will blister your skin).my doctor thinks i am a bull because the last surgery i had he had to double the dose of "ketamine"just to keep me under.

when you have a double header rodeo in one day you use whatever is in the horse trailer.

  2. It is approved for use in equines by the FDA, but the FDA did not approve it for use in people.  I don't know if it was tested in humans and failed the safety criteria, or if it just hasn't been tested on people.

  3. I've used mineral ice before. The only thing you have to watch for with liniment is that it can blister your skin if you apply too much. Obviously horses have thick hair covering their skin and unless you are the mysterious bigfoot covered in thick pelt, just don't smother yourself in it.

The reason they all say not for use in humans is because it would then have to undergo FDA testing etc before it could go on the market.

  4. You might be surprised by the thousands of people that have used and blessed good ol' Absorbine for years.  I'm one of them !

  5. Yeah i've used Rapigel before which is the same stuff.  I know people with arthritis who swear by it.  Just don't go worming yourself with horse wormer hey? Ha Ha!!

  6. it doesnt actually help the pain, it just tingles & distracts you from it mentally....anyways I dont see why its any different....I know old cowboys who used to sniff bute to numb the pain of their injuries before the next rodeo...also ppl who used to take the Buckley's for horses!! AHH! of course these things can prolly kill you so dont try them lol...but the liniment is prolly fine...just make sure you dont a rash or any other reaction to it before you rub it all over your muscles!!

    Good Luck

John R: You sound like some of the boys I know lmao! They will use anything for anything...especially when its convient...aka around the barn ahah!!

  7. I've used it on my back.  I had surgery a couple years ago, and when it really starts bothering me and the Vicodin isn't working I add a little of that.  I water it down a little more so it doesn't burn my skin, but it really works.
