Abstinence Only? Did that work for your family Palin?

Who here believes that giving anyone a condom or a realistic impression of what will happen if they have s*x actually promotes s*x?

Well, our Rep. VP nomination does. Oh, and her 17 year old is having a baby. But that's ok because she's also anti-abortion.

What is the world coming to?

I am sure that somewhere even the most liberal of Dems agreed that families are off limits...guess you are from the far far left yes?.....mistakes happen....like an over 70% out of wedlock birthrate for the liberals "vote bank"...the bought and paid for voters..,the blacks...yes?

Palin believes in the "aspirin method" of birth control. You know - if the girl holds an aspirin squeezed between her knees, for the entire date, then she won't get pregnant.

Ooops! Guess they ran out of aspirin in the Palin household.

abistinence is a great idea and if the workd was perfect then that would be how it goes. However it's not and kids will have s*x and they need to be informed on right ways of protection. And there are many MANY famileies who have pregnant teens so actually Sarah Palin can now relate to them as well.

EXCUSE ME!?!?!?!  Teaching your children abstinence doesn't mean you don't believe in s*x education!  It means you have morals and would like for your teenagers to wait until they are married before having sexual relations.  I know it doesn't always work, I have a 14 year old granddaughter that we weren't expecting, but I cannot for one second imagine what my life or my daughter's life would have been like had she murdered her....  And as for "what is the world coming to" it's not coming to anything it is going to h**l because of the sheer lack of morality that young people exhibit today.  And please don't blame the media, you know right from wrong and sleeping around or having s*x when you are 13 or 14 is WRONG!!!

How do you know what  Palin's position on s*x education is, you certainly haven't quoted anything here?

Encouraging abstinence is still a very good idea, as it's the only method that works every time is done successfully. For all you know her daughter did use contraception.

The bottom line is the behavior of someones 17 year old daughter is not necessarily a reflection on that parent, 17 year olds are smart enough and old enough to do almost anything regardless of what their parents do.

I just thank God she didn't have her daughter do what most politicians would which is have her murder the baby to avoid scandal.
