Now that is has come out that the Republican Vice Presidential nominee (a devout pentecostal) has a teenage daughter that is pregnant out of wedlock (meaning she is NOT married), shouldn't the Republican party either change its platform or admit to its hypocrisy?

9 out of 10 s*x scandals involves REPUBLICANS. Come on guys, its time to admit that sexual repression seems to develop the parties glaring share of pedophiles, closet homosexuals, teenage pregnancies, and abundant sexual perverts? It is time to the party of SIN to step and and admit before GOD its hypocrisy and deviant abuse of power in the name of Christ.

I got pregnant when I was seventeen. I was raised in a devout baptist Christian family. I made a mistake. But I did my best to do what was right in a "bad" situation. I got married also. Don't judge any situation until you've been in the persons shoes. This has nothing to do with politics or how Palin BELIEVES or even how she raised her dauthter. I know this first hand. I admit it was wrong what I did...having s*x out of wedlock. But the wonderful child God blessed me with for doing what was right in a tough situation is well worth it.

I agree completely with Sunshine. We need to educate our kids, and refuse to believe they might be human and have s*x before they are married. Claiming you didn't educate them about s*x because you thought it would encourage them to have more s*x is just naive. Any person at planned parenthood will tell you that abstinence is the ONLY method to 100% ensure you will not get pregnant. Why can't we teach our kids that and also teach them about contraceptives should they choose to have s*x?

What's with all this hypocrisy talk?  Name calling is not going to solve our country's problems.  Abstinence only is taught in our local high school too (southern orange county, CA).  So what?  They still learn about reproduction in health class and science.  Some people want condoms passed out and some don't.  Either way, girls still get pregnant and I am glad that local governments and school districts get to make this decision.  This is not an issue for the federal government.
