Ac cold in one room hot in other?

Question

Every room in my two bedroom apartment gets cold but one bedroom it is hot. I have change the vents and that did not help. Any other suggestions?

put a fan at your door to blow the cool air in from the living room

Well u might want to try leaving the fan on for your AC... It helped in my condo... Your AC will turn on and off like usual but the fan will keep running... It's only like a $10-$15 dollar difference in the electric bill but it works... Oh and when you leave the house make sure all your doors are open... Don't shut any doors, that just makes your AC work harder because it's trying to cool that room... Hope this helps

I have no idea how to help! haha, but i want you to know...I feel your pain. In my apt. my bedroom is the only room that stays miserably hot even when the rest of the apt. is cold. What I do is keep the door open as much as possible!

It is possible that a duct has come loose or separated although I would tend to think that this duct is located further down the in your ductwork and your coil is not cold enough and by the time the air gets to that vent,it feels warmer than the other ones do.Good luck.

Check the A/C ducts to see if you might have a hole in it before it reaches the vents and the cold air is escaping into the attic, or maybe the duct has collapsed and the air can not get to the vent. Good Luck!!!
