  1. If you fail your tech school , but have a good record.

You are offered retraining in another Tech School, on the same base.

IE: they aren't gonna move you to another Tech School base to train in a new job there.

So that limits what jobs you can be retrained in,

Depending on the base and the number of AFSC;s that have thier Tech School there,

You may be offered just one choice, or several.

But any choice you get, will be academicly easier than your current Tech School.

  2. no.   if they won't let you  choose another school and completely discharge you, you don' get any benefits at all.

you must have served for at least three years  before you are eligible to receive the GI Bill..and have paid into it for the first year.

  3. Yeah, I want to know, too!

  4. If you are out in less than 180 I believe you get nothing, which is what you deserve.  After that I believe you may get month for month.  One month of education for evey month you paid in.  They should go over this with you as you process out.

  5. If you fail out of Tech School I doubt you will make it in college either.  I wouldn't worry about the MGIB.

  6. Its an entry level discharge.  You will not receive any benefits.

  7. If you fail tech school you go to either cop tech school or services tech school.  If you fail those there is something wrong with you.

I don't think you should get the GI bill.
