Which do you suggest for a week-long vacation in November. It will be our 5th wedding anniversary. We are in our late 20s, enjoy great beaches, nightlife and nice resorts.

  1. We've been to Acapulco once- at it's the last time i will go. It's dirty, noisy, and really crowded- and the beach isn't pretty. We just got back from Cabo and absolutely loved every minute of it! I would suggest packing a soft cooler and that way you can buy your own beer to drink during the day out by the pool or on the beach. The beers from the bars and hotels are ridiculously expensive (like a Cabo Wabo and Squid Roe- $5- $6 a beer!)

But hit up the happy hours at The Office or the Mango Deck and enjoy 2 for 1 beers! Night life is great! Beaches are fun! And you can find upscale places to eat, as well as, find your own hole in the wall great food places!

We did the Pirate Ship Cruise and it was a lot of fun!

  2. Acapulco is ok but nothing compared to Cabo San Lucas.

I have been there every year for 7 years.  The atmosphere is young, fun and there is lots to do including 4-wheeling, sailing, snorkeling, diving, jet-ski, fishing, night life in many nightclubs.  The Margarita's are great!   Cabo will cost more than Acapulco, but it's way worth it.  Most resorts are very nice and there are

    condos for rent also.

  3. Hola.  I'm a bit partial with my answer because I live and work here in Cabo, but I have been to both places and I can confidently say, Cabo San Lucas or San Jose del Cabo would make for a wonderful holiday!  If you are wondering where to stay, I would recommend Dreams, the Marquis, or the Crowne Plaza, or the Riu Santa Fe.  check out their websites.  All are on beautiful white sand beaches, all have fun activities, are beautiful resorts, and you can check out the nightlife in town, or go shopping, or go on tours.

p.s. November is a great time to visit.  It is still very warm, and tons of flowers due to the sept/oct rainy period.  The desert just seems to come alive.  Its my favorite month.
