  1. Australia or S.Africa, take your pick.

  2. The batting line up on paper is not going to help any team to win the matches.  It is the consistent performance that help the teams to win the matches.  According to me Australia is the best side as far as consistency is concerned.

  3. pretty sure its a toss up between australia and s.a

  4. South Africa and Australia have very good batting line-ups and it shows in the rankings because only decimal points separate them but mostly i agree with proteas

  5. To be perfectly honest, I think SA has the best lineup in ODIs.

With the exception of Gibbs, everyone else is performing very well.

    Smith - in great form

Gibbs - blows hot and cold

Kallis - is the anchor in the innings

de Villiers - very talented, good strike rate

Duminy - potential to be a GREAT batsman, good temperament

    A. Morkel - the guy we fall on when in trouble, brilliant batsman with a great strike rate, and plays well under pressure

Boucher - also plays well under pressure, bats well with tail

    M. Morkel - good batsman at no. 8

Aus are in a transition phase and their batting looks vulnerable.

India always look good on paper but don't do well in reality.

  6. its austrailia no dobt abt that coz they have hayden ,hussey ,ponting.they r always in the top 10 batsmans list and they do have allrounders like symonds, hopes etc and  they can handle pressure very well .unlike indians if one partnership is broken they have d strength to build up another quickly .and they do have the plus point of high run rate and gud running. so mate austrailia is d best!!

  7. India if all of them plays to their capacity

  8. India- because India has Gautam Gambhir, Virendra Sehwag, Sahin Tendulkar, Yuvi, Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, Ganguly, Irfan Pathan is also good with bat! I think really has the best batting line-up (whether its T20, ODI or Test) in the world!

  9. Team India

  10. India

  11. normally i would say Australia but their one day batting is not what it used to be I'm gonna say the new number one odi team in the world South Africa even if its by decimal points it counts we have Graeme Smith and Hershelle Gibbs opening the batting they do well in ODI cricket good averages and they bat well if not together then at least one of them makes runs and Smith is currently number one ODI player in the world then at number three Kallis he brings stability holds the innings together then at number four the very exciting Ab de Villiers at number 5 five JP Duminy many people may not know him but he is a very good young player he is consistent and bats at a good strike rate at number 6 Albie Morkel the big hitting all-rounder he is a great finisher at seven we have Mark Boucher at eight Morne Morkel who can bat as well

there you go the batting line up i believe to be currently the best in the world

  12. it is always INDIA.

sometime it may not because its all in the game

  13. In my opinion, it is Australia, and following Australia is India.

    You want proof?

    Australian team:

    -Matthew Hayden (high score:181*)

    -Ricky Ponting (high score 164)

    -Micheal Clarke (high score 130)

    -Andrew Symonds (high score 156)

    -Micheal Hussey (high score 109*)

    Indian team:

-Robin Uthappa (high score 86) he only played 24 matches.

-Sachin Tendulkar (high score 186*) 417 matches, lol

-Gautam Gambhir (high score 113) just 47 matches

    -Yuvraj Singh (high score 139)

-Mahendra Singh Dhoni (high score 183*)

-Rohit Sharma (high score 70*) he only played 14 matches.

by the way, India's batting line-up which I listed have a few people who are just entering the ODI scene, unlike Australia's experienced line-up, even without Gilly.

  14. The Men in Blue - Indians

  15. Before it used to be india, because they had a batting line up of Ganguly, Sehwag, Tendulkar, Dravid, Yuvraj and Dhoni. Never in cricket has there ever been a more consistent, powerful and experienced top 4.

However now with ganguly, dravid and sehwag not being in the side, india now rely heavily on sachin, so the best team batting side is probaly either south africa or australia, however because gilly has retired, australia probaly wont be able to replace a batsmen having a strike rate of 97, open and keep, so south africa has the strongest ODI batting side.

Its a similar story with the best test batting lineup. Australia did have teh best batting lineup, but because gilly and langer have gone, and india has found a good wicket batsmen in dhoni, and with the inclusion of sehwag, india has the best test batting lineup.

  16. India, but need more consistency.

  17. Australia. Even without Gilly, they have an automatic replacement in Haddin.

They bat all the way down: even Mitchell Johnson and Stuart Clark can hold a bat.

Hayden, Haddin, Ponting, Hussey, Clarke, Symonds, Hopes/Watson....what a top seven.

And don't forget Brett Lee at number eight: in any other team he would be an all-rounder.

  18. definetly australia.unlike indians they keep atleast one good player for the last.
